Four systems — intruder alarm, CCTV, intercom and integrated access control — designed, wired and commissioned as one coherent package, with tenant-level permissions and a single PPM contract.

50131 certified alarm
The building now operates with one integrated security platform that respects tenant boundaries while protecting the whole property. Reception workflows are smoother, tenants have full control of their own space, and building management has clear, real-time oversight of all activity.
Yes. G.M.E configures access control with a layered permission structure. Each tenant is given administrator access to manage their own floor or suite — adding and removing users, setting access times and reviewing door activity logs — while shared areas remain under building management control. Tenants cannot see or modify each other’s settings.
IS EN 50131 is the insurance standard for intruder alarms in Ireland. Many commercial insurers require a certified alarm system as a condition of cover particularly for shared-use or high-value premises. Without a valid IS EN 50131 certificate from a PSA-licensed installer, your policy may be invalid. G.M.E provides the full certification documentation on every installation.
In a G.M.E integrated installation, the intercom, CCTV and access control all feed into a single management interface at reception. When a visitor calls via the intercom, the reception screen displays their face via the door camera. Reception staff can verify identity, grant or deny entry remotely, and the access event is logged with a CCTV timestamp — replacing separate disconnected systems with one fluid process.
Based on G.M.E’s experience across commercial properties in Dublin, most switches from an existing provider deliver savings of 10–20% without any reduction in service levels. G.M.E offers a free cost comparison review assessing your current contract, coverage and pricing. There is no obligation and no cost. Call 01 963 0126 to arrange a review.
A full fit-out by G.M.E covers design, supply, installation, commissioning and handover of all security systems typically intruder alarm, CCTV, access control and intercom, all wired and integrated from a single project. G.M.E works with architects, contractors and building managers during fit-out to ensure first-fix cabling is laid correctly. All systems are certified to the relevant IS EN standards and backed by a PPM contract.
