GME Fire & Security

IS 3218 / IS 3217 (Audit + Test Regime)

A Fire System That Isn't Tested Isn't a Safety System.

Your insurer will ask for a test certificate. Your fire authority will ask for a test certificate. If a fire happens and you can’t produce one, your claim and your compliance are both in question. Regular, certified inspection isn’t optional — it’s the proof that your duty of care is real.

Untested Systems Are a Legal and Financial Liability

What happens when inspection slips
Insurance policy invalid after a fire — no test records = no payout · Fire authority enforcement notice — closure order possible · Legal liability as responsible person under the Fire Services Acts · Systems that have silently failed — nobody knew until the emergency
